The value of cleaning

Afidamp is synonymous with professional cleaning , which differs from domestic cleaning in various ways: the type of dirt, the beneficiaries and the frequency of repetition.
Creating and distributing professional cleaning products, machinery and equipment means helping to defend the health and well-being of all citizens, offering them safe and decorous public spaces within which to live and work. This is the aim pursued by the network of businesses and associations headed by Afidamp, which works each day to valorise and disseminate a culture of cleanliness, the source of health and dignity.

Cleanliness is health

The World Health Organization defines health "not as the absence of illness, but as a state of complete psycho-physical and social well-being".
Indeed being well is more than simply "not being sick". Health is the most precious aspect of a person's life: without it everything else is impossible and quality of life inevitably deteriorates.
Health is a human right. But it is also the duty of each one of us to be part of the process of promoting it, at an individual and a social level. It is tightly bound up with our social relationships, day-to-day lives, a fragile ecosystem.
In this sense, cleaning plays a vital role. The need to safeguard the environment and collective health (understood as psycho-physical and social well-being) demands that public and private spaces are healthy, and therefore, above all else, clean.
And yet, despite technological advances and progress, one of the mistakes we increasingly make today is to see cleaning seen as a “necessary evil” rather than as a factor for health.
Instead it is absolutely essential to make responsible choices, individually and collectively, to promote the maintenance of health, starting with personal hygiene practices and virtuous life-style choices, establishing standards of hygiene that guarantee the healthiness, comfort and quality of civil society.
